Vista Soccer Academy Coach Brinton Nute

It’s time to train smarter.

At Vista Soccer Academy, we develop the next elite soccer players - through one on one training, mentorship, and advising.

Blending the digital with the physical, we combine film analysis with one on one feedback and private training to get you to the next level of play.

As we enter into the age of all things digital, video analysis has become a key aspect of the game.

At Vista Soccer Academy, we believe that dissecting soccer film and analyzing all aspects of your game is crucial in being able to improve as a player.

We understand that club and high school coaches don’t always have the time or resources to focus on individual players, nor can you expect them to. Coaching teams with 16+ player rosters and often being responsible for multiple teams is a lot to ask of our club coaches.

At Vista Soccer Academy we watch your game film and focus our attention solely on you, the individual player. We look at your movement, your positioning with & without the ball, we look at your decision making and the execution of your passing, shooting, dribbling and tackling.

From there, we devise your custom plan and roadmap to get you to the next level of soccer.

Let’s IDENTIFY - EVALUATE - IMPLEMENT and take your game further, faster.

Vista Soccer Academy Coach Brinton Nute
  • Founder

Hi there! My name is Brinton Nute and I am the co-founder of Vista Soccer Academy. I am 36 years young and have been playing the beautiful game of soccer (or football, as I officially know it as) for the past 28 years of my life.

As a former professional player in the UK from a young age, this game has always been my life.

I officially (my dad probably had me out kicking a ball about before I could talk) started playing as an eager five year old out in the British rain and have loved the game ever since.

It’s in my blood, in my DNA (my father and grandfather are both former professional players in the UK), and in my heart.

I made my reserve team debut for Plymouth Argyle at 13 years old and learned quickly from the pros that surrounded me. I was also honored to be selected to represent my country for England U-16’s which included players such as James Milner (currently playing for Liverpool), Aaron Lennon (Burnley) & Tom Heaton (Aston Villa).

I spent most of my professional playing career at Plymouth, signing a full time contract as a 13 year old which committed me to the club upon graduation from school at 16 years old.

I also had spells training with Sunderland F.C, a well respected professional-club in my home country who were in the Premier League at the time.

In 2009, after a couple of broken legs (two separate occasions, two separate breaks, and yes, it was as heartbreaking as it sounds), I was offered an opportunity that would change my life.

I accepted a full ride to play soccer for SCAD (Savannah College of Art & Design) in Savannah, Georgia, where I went on to captain the team for three years, as well as receiving All-American honors in my senior year on our way to be ranked 18th in the country.

I met my Texan wife, Allie, while at SCAD and decided to make a life with her here in this wonderful country. After graduation, I took a position as a college soccer scout (specifically scouting European players for US college), before my wife and I decided to start a family, here in Austin, Texas.

I’ve since held the honorable position of Head Soccer Coach at Wimberley High School. During my tenure at WHS, we amassed a 116-31-12 record along with Four Regional Final appearances, a first for the team and school.

I use my experience of playing professional and collegiate soccer along with my tenure as a college scout to help guide young players through the process of improving their game to its full potential.

I’m really excited to work with the next generation of talented soccer players!

Vista Soccer Academy Coach Trevor Blass

  • Co-Founder

Hey! My name is Trevor Blass and I am lucky enough to have co-founded Vista Soccer Academy with my good friend Brinton Nute.

I am 25 years old and have been playing soccer since I could walk. I grew up in Wimberley Texas and some of my favorite memories involved playing soccer in the front yard with my family.

As one does as a kid in Texas I tried alot of different sports while growing up, football (American), basketball, track but I was always drawn back to my true passion, soccer. As I got older my love for the game only grew, I began playing and watching even more as I got into High School. Spending hours at the field on the weekends and even coaching at camps and clinics during the summers. Which is where I first realized my passion for coaching and helping younger players improve their game.

After Graduation I continued my education at Texas Tech University. I also tried out for and made the club soccer team and got to play with some really good players as well as meeting some lifelong friends.

I graduated from Texas Tech in 2019 and since then have been working in the technology sales industry while always pursuing an opportunity to get involved with coaching and soccer in some capacity.

I couldn’t be more excited about this new journey and look forward to working with everyone.

The future of elite soccer training is custom, digital, and available to you.

Let’s get going.
